The question we get most often is
"Why is it called SheilaFest?"
“In 2015, one of our beloved residents and social committee members – Sheila Anderson – had a massive heart attack and nearly lost her life. A true music lover, Sheila was inspired by her second shot at life to launch a music festival at Traditions of Braselton. The festival is named as a living tribute to her – after all, that’s what this community is all about… those special individuals that are an integral part of the whole. Sheila’s ideas, connections to local bands and countless hours of work to pull together something amazing with the help of her friends and neighbors in the community resulted in one of the largest events Traditions of Braselton has ever hosted. We expect this year to be even bigger and better than our inaugural event. I – for one – can’t wait!”
